Who We Are
The Rwanda Association of Petroleum Products Importers (ASSIMPER) is a professional industry association representing petroleum products importing companies operating in Rwanda.
ASSIMPER brings together petroleum importers to promote collaboration, responsible business practices, constructive dialogue, and the sustainable development of Rwanda’s petroleum sector.
As an industry voice, ASSIMPER works to ensure that the interests and perspectives of petroleum importers are effectively represented in discussions affecting the sector. We engage with government institutions, regulators, industry stakeholders, and other partners to contribute to a transparent, efficient, competitive, and sustainable petroleum market in Rwanda.
Our members play an important role in ensuring the reliable supply of petroleum products required by households, businesses, transport operators, industries, and other sectors of the Rwandan economy.
Our Role
Petroleum products are essential to Rwanda’s economic activities, supporting transportation, trade, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, energy, and many other sectors.
ASSIMPER provides a platform through which petroleum importers can work together, share industry knowledge, identify common challenges, and contribute to solutions that strengthen the petroleum supply chain.
We believe that a strong petroleum sector requires collaboration between the private sector, government, regulators, consumers, and other stakeholders.
Through representation, advocacy, information sharing, and stakeholder engagement, ASSIMPER contributes to the continued development of Rwanda’s petroleum industry.
